Taylor Packaging Corporation began in St. Louis in 1980 when my business partner, Glen Taylor, and I saw an opportunity to offer quality packaging at an affordable price. What started with a single small thermoforming machine and leasing floor space, TPC has grown into a 25,000 square foot plant boasting a state-of-the-art tooling department, nine production lines, two CNC machines, and a sealing and fulfillment department working together to produce tens of millions of parts annually. In 2001, our daughter Sara T. Hardy, was brought in to help implement a more modern, efficient production process as well as oversee an aggressive expansion project which has resulted in a doubling of our production capacity. Taylor is proud to call itself female minority owned and family operated. For nearly three decades, Taylor Packaging Corporation has remained competative by continually striving for the best quality packaging at the most affordable price.

“As my parents have phased out into the next journey of their lives, my goal is to make sure they are at ease with the job I am doing for Taylor Packaging. With the continued growth and expansion, we are taking Thermoforming and our Engineering and Design Department to another level. As we closed our 34th fiscal year on March 31, 2014, we had a record breaking year in Sales. We are adding new equipment and expanding our facility to remain at the forefront of the packaging industry. The biggest component vital to our continued success is the skilled team we have in place. I manage this team with a positive attitude and constant motivation and run our operations in the most economical and ethical way that I possibly can. To do all of this, I believe you have to establish a sense of trust and respect with both your employees and clients. As we move forward into the next phase, I am confident my parents can enjoy their retirement and be rest assured they have left the operations in trusted hands. Hopefully, they will sit back and watch the manufacturing facility they created back in 1980 with one machine and one employee grow into something bigger than they ever imagined. I am grateful for the opportunity and optimistic about the challenge that lies ahead”.
